Ali Mokhtarian created “Hirad by Ali” with the determination to deliver high end leather fashion to men, women and children. His passion for designing was sparked more than 15 years ago when Ali took his interest in art and drawing to the next level and brought his designs to life in leather. Since establishing Hirad by Ali in 1996, Ali has designed customized creations for numerous clients. The men’s collection from Hirad by Ali was showcased on the 2004 IFS runway before Ali travelled to find inspiration for his work. He found this enlightenment and further training in Italy and France, where he remained before arriving in Vancouver. In 2007, Hirad by Ali made its way to Vancouver and has been part of the haute couture until it was rebranded with his partner into the Valerio Collection that consists of made to measure leather apparel and suits.
